Wanderlusty Wednesday: Les plages de la Normandie

Blue Beach

I meant to do a post about traveling to the D-Day beaches in Normandy today, but I do not have time. So for now I’ll leave you with this photo of one of those beaches–they’re oddly incredibly peaceful today–with more info to come next week. Stay tuned!

      1. I was in Saint-Lo. It’s not super touristy, due to the fact that most of the old town was bombed away, but it’s a lovely little town if you’re looking for a day trip. Get a crepe at La Grenouille, take photos of the unicorns everywhere, and if it’s nice, walk down the Route du Candol for a few kilometers and you’ll come to a beautiful little picnic spot!
